We are looking for a postdoc to do research in the field of thin film deposition, especially chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of metals with potential use as interconnects in back-end-of-line (BEOL) technology in electronics processing. The CVD processes to be studied uses plasma electrons for surface chemical redox reactions to deposit metal films.
As postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.
You will be employed in the Chemistry division at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
This recruitment is connected to the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE, wise-materials.org). WISE, funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, is the largest-ever investment in materials science in Sweden and will encompass major efforts at Sweden’s foremost universities over the course of 10 years. The vision is a sustainable future through materials science.
