What you will do
As a Design Engineer you will be our expert within printed circuit board design for new concept and products. You will act as a mentor of the electronics team and take responsibility of the PCB design and layout, but also lead reviews and assessments with PCB area.

You will also setup and lead the teams strategic work related to PCB. Typically, toward efficiency, cost reduction, DFM and quality goals.

Your main focus will be:

- Perform PCB layout work with respect to design rules, signal and power integrity

- Perform PCB stack-up definition and work together with design team and suppliers

- Perform panelization and other manufacturing preparation work together with design team, manufacturing team and suppliers

- Review PCB designs against internal and IPC standards

- Perform PCB validation work

Tjänsten befinner sig på Saab Aeronautics och är på avdelningen Head of

What You´ll Do

As a manager you will lead teams of approx 15 software engineers. You and your team are responsible for developing software used in Test Automation and GSE (Generic Surveillance Equipment) to verify our Active Safety products.

The team plans and executes tests of our vision systems during different project phases to verify and validate design of components and products. In Linköping, we’re developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you can expect
As a Project Manager you will primary work with products in serial production and you are responsible and accountable for leading change from request to released product in serial production. You will work closely with Change Teams located at our manufacturing sites, both locally and globally.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for:

- Determine scope of change request, negotiate possible alternatives with internal & external participants, and manage details of change implementation.

- Present changes in Change Control Board (CCB)

- Drive global changes within product area

- Lead and support design related quality investigations

- Interface to organization regarding questions in serial production

- Experience in Project Management

- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

Education

- University degree within Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Din roll
Som Systemingenjör kommer du att fokusera på systemteknik och bidra i alla utvecklingssteg, från analys och definition av krav, systemdesign, implementering och test och verifiering, med fokus på funktionell säkerhet. Du kommer att samarbeta nära med människor från olika områden som system, programvara, hårdvara, test och arkitektur.

Kvalifikationer

- Erfarenhet av systemdesign och arkitektur av embedded system

- Kännedom om globala standarder inom Systems Engineering och/eller Functional Safety

- En systemtänkande inställning och en vilja att behålla en helhetssyn på produkten

- Erfarenhet av agila metoder och arbete i scrum-team

- Du talar och skriver obehindrat på svenska och engelska

Meriterande

- Erfarenhet av riskbedömningsmetoder som FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) och FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)

- Erfarenhet från fordonsindustrin och arbete med säkerhetskritiska system
